Wednesday, March 22, 2023 - 4:00pm Tate Theater Synopsis: BLURRING THE COLOR LINE follows director Crystal Kwok as she unpacks the history behind her grandmother’s family, who were neighborhood grocery store owners in the Black community of Augusta, Georgia, during the Jim Crow era. This documentary serves to disrupt racial narratives and bridge divides. Immediately after the screening is a panel discussion between Ms. Kwok, Dr. Michelle Cook, and other UGA faculty members on racial relations. Light refreshments and pizzas will be provided.
